PURPOSE: An apparatus for eliminating dust is provided to eliminate the dust seized by a filter of a cylindrical dust collecting apparatus by making dust-containing gas flow from the inside of the filter to the outside of the filter to perform a filtering process and by arbitrarily and continuously rotating a dust eliminating unit adjacent to the filter so as to clean the inner circumferential surface of the filter. CONSTITUTION: The filter is of a cylinder type. A clean air chamber(44) is formed in the outer circumference of the filter. The filter and the clean air chamber are surrounded by a box body(31,41) including an induction hole and an exhaust hole(45). The induction hole induces the gas to the inside of the filter from the opening of the filter. The exhaust hole connects the clean gas chamber with the outside. A dust eliminating unit rotates, contacting the inner circumferential surface of the filter. A driver unit drives the dust eliminating unit.
