<p>The present invention relates to electronics engineering and may be used in an electrical power unit. The piezo-transformer comprises an excitation section and a generator section. The excitation section is provided in the form of a radially polarised ring (1) having electrodes (2) on its outer and inner surfaces. The generator section is provided in the form of an axially polarised disc (3) having electrodes (4) on its flat surfaces. The disc is installed within the ring and is mechanically coupled to it through a dielectric layer (5). The ring and disc electrodes are not electrically connected. The disc may be formed as a package of plates. The ring may be formed by a set of concentric elements. Coefficient of performance of the transformer is increased and its field of application is widened.</p> |
