The invention concerns a pivot hinge designed to fix a door pivoting on an element. Said pivot hinge comprises a hinge body located on the side of the element and a hinge body located on the side of the door, and is fixed on the hinge body located on the element by a pin, so as to pivot about a longitudinal axis of the pin. Said hinge enables to avoid efficiently and with reduced physical means, that the door should be inadvertently opened. The invention is characterised in that said pivot hinge has a retaining device for maintaining the door in closed position, and comprising a snap-on element arranged on the hinge body located on the side of the element and a second snap-on element located on the side of the door. |
