PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a round stone-like rock by stirring a rock within a drum by the rotation of the drum, moving the rock toward a discharge port while rounding the angular part of the rock, and discharging the rock from the discharge port. SOLUTION: An original stone 61 is scooped by a power shovel 51 and put in a shoot 71, whereby the original stone 61 is supplied into a drum 21 through an opening formed on a blocking plate 73 and feed port. The rock is stirred in the drum 21 by the rotation of the drum 21 and moved toward a discharge port while rounding the angular part of the rock. More specifically, the original stone (rock) 61 supplied into the drum 21 is stirred by the rotation of the drum 21, whereby a collision or friction is generated between the rocks or between the rock and the drum inner wall, and the sharp angles of the rock are broken or worn, whereby the angular rock can be rounded. The rock stirred and moved toward the discharge port while rounding the angular part is fallen from the discharge port. |
