PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water drain device in a bathroom capable of preventing entry of a small animal such as a rat and a cockroach and facilitating cleaning. SOLUTION: This water drain device 1 is provided in an outlet part, and the water drain device 1 consists of a casing 2 buried under a floor surface and a trap mechanism 3 stored in the casing 2. The casing 2 is formed into a bottomed cylindrical shape whose upper end is opened, an upper end opening part 6 thereof is formed to communicate with an outlet 7 on the floor surface, and a water drain hole 5 communicating with a drainage channel is formed in a bottom part 4 thereof. The trap mechanism 3 is provided with the upper end opening part 6 of the casing 2 or a waste water inlet 8 supported in an outlet part 7 in an upper end part thereof and a discharge port in a lower end part thereof, and a flap 10 opening and closing the discharge port is provided in the discharge port.
