PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently supply reformed gas even at the time of start and under a transient state. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a main reforming apparatus 3 which is mounted in the exhaust gas pipe 2 of an internal combustion engine and reforms fuel by a reforming catalyst, and a gas injection valve 8 which introduces reformed gas from the main reforming apparatus 3 through a reformed gas supply pipe 5 and ejects and supplies the reformed gas to the inside of an intake pipe 7. A sub reforming apparatus 10 which reforms ejected fuel by a heater and the reforming catalyst is arranged on the intake pipe 7 by being connected to the tip part of the fuel injection valve 9 provided per each air cylinder. An insufficient amount of reformed gas supply from the main side gas injection valve 8 to the engine is supplied as reformed gas from the fuel injection valve 9 with the sub reforming apparatus 10.
