PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for lifting up seedling boxes by enabling to carry out a work for displacing seedling boxes simply with a relatively little force and without loading much load to the waist of a worker. SOLUTION: In this device for lifting up seedling boxes, a hook means for hooking a seedling box 1 is installed on the other end of a long rod 11 having a grip 12 on one end. The hook means is constituted to have a hooking nail unit 13 capable of hooking an ear unit 1a for hooking formed to be protruding from the side wall of the seedling box 1. The device for lifting up the seedling boxes is constituted to lift up the one side of the side wall of the seedling box 1 from the ground through a leverage by pressing down the rod 11 toward the ground after engaging the hooking nail unit 13 to the ear unit 1a for hooking.
