PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent continuous perforating in a main scanning direction on a stencil printing base paper when the perforating on the stencil base paper is to be executed by using a thick film type thermal head. SOLUTION: This thick film type thermal head comprises conductive heating resistors 1 extending in a main scanning direction X and a plurality of first electrodes 4a and second electrodes 4b which are alternately in contact with the conductive heating resistors 1 at predetermined intervals. A width P of each portion between the first electrode 4a and second electrode 4b is smaller than an electrode width Q of each of the first electrode 4a and second electrode 4b.
