PURPOSE: A vibration reducer of a color CRT(Cathode Ray Tube) is provided to minimize operating time by reducing vibration on the left/right sides of a mask concentrically and to enhance quality of CRTs and workability in a manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: A vibration reducer(102) is formed in an opened-square bar. Holes(101) are formed at both sides of a non-effective portion(103b) of a shadow mask(03) to accept the vibration reducer. To increase reduction efficiency, the vibration reducer has the intermediate portion contacted with the shadow mask after passing the holes and both ends welded to a frame(107). The holes are rubbed against the side of the vibration reducer by the thickness of the shadow mask when the shadow mask starts to vibrate. Thus, vibration is reduced. The remainder of vibration is delivered to the central portion and are reduced.
