Offline and/or online quality tracking of materials on belt conveyor by applying quality location and time parameters based on input values

The method involves using a computer which receives as inputs the material mass flow or mass per unit length, volume flow or volume per unit length, together with corresponding qualitative identification i.e. quality grade, belt speed or displacement in time slots. Based on the input parameters the material is given a quality, location and time parameter when loading the belt conveyor, so that quality tracking can be performed and the location of the material to be selected on the belt conveyor can be determined.
