PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs, trouble in installation, and time by decreasing the number of component items. SOLUTION: This piping member 1 for a gas meter comprises an in-side piping member 2 constituted by forming a gas inflow passage formed with an in-side connection port 4 relating to a rising up gas supply pipe in a down direction to make gas flowing in from this in-side connection port 4 rise up thereafter flow toward a front surface side further turn to the left via in a gas plug 5a flow in a vertical direction and lead to a connection port relating to an inlet side base 20 of the gas meter 19 and an out-side piping member 7 integrally formed with the in-side pipe member 2 formed with a connection port relating to an out-side base 20a of the gas meter 19 downward to be formed with a gas flow out passage making gas flowing in from this connection port rise up thereafter turn to rightward lead to a gas conductor pipe connection port and also formed with a connection lever protruded leftward to fit this connection lever into a connection hole formed in a right side of the in-side pipe member 2. This pipe member, after mounting in the in-side base 20 and the out-side base 20a of the gas meter 19, is mounted in a support bar 25 fixed into a pipe shaft by using a mounting metal fitting 21.
