In the present invention there are disclosed cross-linkable, re-dispersible dispersion powders based on vinyl ester copolymers or copolymers of esters of (meth)acrylic acid functioning as binding agents for dry binding of fibrous materials. Those vinyl ester copolymers of one or several monomers being selected from a group of vinyl esters of non-branched or branched alkyl carboxylic acids containing 1 to 15 carbon atoms, copolymers of esters of (meth)acrylic acid of one or more monomers of the group of esters of methacrylic acid or acrylic acid with alcohols containing 1 to 10 carbon atoms and copolymers of vinyl esters or esters of (meth)acrylic acid contain 0.1 to 10 percent by weight, based on the total weight of copolymer, of one or several ethylenically unsaturated comonomers exhibiting cross-linking activity.
