PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a transmission reception module to select a communication system corresponding to an optical fiber in use. SOLUTION: This module is provided with an optical transmission reception section 1 that sends/receives an optical signal to/from an optical fiber, and also with a half duplex communication circuit 4 that controls the optical transmission reception section 1 in a half duplex communication system, a full duplex communication circuit 3 that controls the optical transmission reception section 1 in a full duplex communication system, and a changeover device 2 that selects the half duplex communication system or the full duplex communication system for the communication system controlling the optical transmission reception section 1. |
