PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillator in which manufacturing process can be simplified by eliminating conventionally required earth electrode. SOLUTION: A drive signal is provided to the electrodes (drive electrodes) c1, d1, c, d, c2 and d2 on one side of each drive leg 11u, 11v, 11w of a tripod tuning fork type piezoelectric oscillator. Output electrodes a, b among the electrodes (output electrodes) a1, b1, a, b, a2 and b2 on the other side are connected with I/V converting means 12, 13, respectively. Since the output electrodes a, b are imaginary short-circuited, no earth electrode is required between the output electrodes a, b and thereby the electrode manufacturing process can be simplified. |
