PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photoreceptor having a high sensitivity, high image quality, high stability and high resolution by incorporating a specific crystalline titanyl phthalocyanine composition as a charge generating material into a charge generating layer and incorporating a specific bisamine compound as a charge transfer material into a charge transfer layer. SOLUTION: The charge generating layer contains the crystalline titanyl phthalocyanine composition which exhibits a diffraction peak having the highest intensity at a Bragg angle (2θ±0.2 deg.) in X-ray spectra for a CuKαcharacteristic X-ray as a charge generating material and the charge transfer layer contains the bisamine compound expressed by formula as the charge transfer material. In the formula, Ar1, Ar2 denote substituted aryl group, heterocyclic group, aralkyl group, etc. Z denotes an O, S or Se atom. R1, R2 respectively denote 1-3C substituted alkyl groups, alkoxy groups, dialkylamino groups, etc.; (m) denotes an integer from 1 to 4 and (n) denotes an integer from 1 to 3.
