PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coil winding device which can automatically wind the coils of a transformer composed of two conductors having the same impedance at a high speed, by twistingly winding the conductors around a core by automatically adjusting the tension of the conductors so that the tension may become even. SOLUTION: A coil winding device for transformer 1 is provided with a tension adjusting device 3 composed at least of a pair of guide pulleys 29 and 30, which are rotatably attached to a swinging member 26 pivotally set up in a case 2 in a freely swingable state and around which two conductors 5 and 6 are put; and at least one tension giving device 4 which is constituted to give tension to the conductor 6 wound around the device 4 by applying a braking force to the conductor 6, and can automatically adjust the strength of the braking force by swinging a swinging member 26. The swinging member 26 is formed in a cross composed of a vertical section and a horizontal section, and the guide pulleys 29 and 30 are rotatably attached to both end sections of the horizontal section, respectively. |
