PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust transmission device capable of keeping a wide space in a preceding conduit, simply and easily repeating the transmission and cancel of thrust and receiving drilling torque reaction of the preceding conduit. SOLUTION: This transmission device includes a thrust transmission device main body 10 consisting two engagement plates 13, 13 in approximately circular shape in view from a propelling direction, a pin 14 for rotatably joining these engagement plates 13, 13 at their ends with each other to be pivotally mounted on an annular plate 9 and an expandable hydraulic jack 15 for connecting the engagement plates 13, 13 at their other ends with each other. An engagement groove 12 is formed in the inner periphery of an outer cylinder A along the circumferential direction.
