PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability in remote control and to easily confirm the remote control by providing a display means to perform different display between when a remote control signal receiving means receives a 1st remote control signal and when it receives a 2nd remote control signal. SOLUTION: A remote control signal detection circuit 14 outputs a signal to a camera control circuit 12 according as the reception of any remote control signal is detected. A reception display circuit 15 has circuits respectively corresponding to plural kinds of reception confirmation display parts, and receives a command from the circuit 12 so as to perform reception display in accordance with the received remote control signal, and drives an optical reception confirming light emitting part 9 and a sound wave reception confirming sounding part 11. By such constitution, plural kinds of remote control signals are compensated in terms of signal reaching ability so as to prevent failure that a remote control device does not work well or it causes malfunction, improve the reliability in the remote control, and easily confirm the remote control.
