Every managed unit delivers one or more services for an administrative computer (10) which more remotely stores an administrative interface supplier object. All the services have an assigned managed entity interface (ME interface) (33) which has references to one or more administrative interfaces (MIs = managed interfaces), which has the ME for delivering information concerning a feature/characteristic of the service represented by the ME (33) and through a managed unit (22,24). The computer has an input/output (14) for communications the managed units, a memory (16) which includes a remote view object (36), and a processor which calls a method which is assigned to a view object (36) in order to indicate the ME's to the managed unit service by which a user selects one or more of the ME's before calling a function of the interface supplier object (26).
