PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically switching an interior illumination of a boarding bridge is provided to automatically switch a lamp by attaching a reflecting tape and a photo sensor to each gallery. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for automatically switching an interior illumination of a boarding bridge comprises a reflection tape which is attached to an outer wall of a gallery in such a manner that bright and darkness sides are alternatively positioned on the reflection tape. A photo sensor(200) is provided on a front side of an opposite gallery which is overlapped with the gallery having the reflection tape. The photo sensor(200) is turned on/off based on the light radiated from the reflection tape. A microcomputer(300) is provided to detect the moving distance of the gallery and to output a control signal for switching a lamp. A relay switch(400) is provided to turn on/off the lamp based on the control signal of the microcomputer(300).
