PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a game arithmetic processing device in common with a game machine of different type by referring to the machine code in the execution of a boot program, and laying the memory content of a memory means as it is when the machine kind code is a specified code, and erasing the memory content when it is other than the specified code. SOLUTION: A game block 200A performs the self-diagnosis to a CPU core 201 or the peripheral circuit thereof when a program is started, and reads the 'kind code' on an address map when the result is OK to judge whether it is a specified code 'S' or not. When the specified code 'S' is judged, the read- and-write verify check of a user work RAM 203 is executed. In case of other than the specified code 'S', all-zero is written in the user work RAM 203, and a boot reset is generated, after a prescribed initialization processing such as set of hardware parameter is executed, to end the program. |
