The two identical parts of a motorcycle wheel (4) are joined exclusively at the hub (1) and rim (2), being inwardsly joined at the hub in a connection area (5) where they mutually engage. This area (5) extends inwards in cylindrical shape in which case the cylinder area of the one wheel part (4) grasps that of the other part, or engages the other part in area (5) via an opening (6) giving a tongue-and-groove join. In the area (5), parts forming the hub (1) are positively and/or forcibly joined to one another. This can be by plugging, pressing, screwing or riveting together or by a bond.
