PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high capacity by mixing one or more kinds of polymers in two specific ranges of values of d002 after treating at a specific temperature, before polymerizing, and heat-treating polymeric resin obtained by subsequent polymerization of the respective polymers. SOLUTION: One or more kinds of polymers of 0.350-0.3354 nm of d002 after treated at 3000 deg.C, and one or more kinds of polymers of 0.450-0.350 nm of d002 are used. The polymers of 0.350-0.3354 nm of d002 show orientation in spite of low crystallinity even in low temperature treatment and is high in true density. Polymeric resin obtained by mixing the polymers of 0.450-0.350 nm of d002 after treated at 3000 deg.C, with the polymers 0.350-0.3354 nm of d002, is therefore heat-treated. The obtained carbon has true density of 1.75 g/cc-1.9 g/cc, higher in spite of low crystallinity in comparison to the true density of 1.60 g/cc-1.75 g/cc of normal low crystalline carbon. |
