PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize substantially wide illuminating angle, to enhance visibility in the vehicle side, and to enhance performance of a vehicle lighting fixture of this kind. SOLUTION: This vehicle lighting fixture 1 has a parabolic or elliptic main reflecting surface 2 having a light source 3 in the position of almost a focusing point, an opening 2a is installed at least one side in the radial position of a suitable angle in the laterally horizontal direction around the light source 3 based on the central axis Z of the vehicle lighting fixture 1 on the main reflecting surface 2, an elliptic sub-reflecting surface 5 using the light source as a first focal point is installed on the back side of the main reflecting surface 2 of the opening 2a. Light having an illuminating angle of 60 deg. for example from the sub-reflecting surface 5 is joined with light having an illuminating angle of 30 deg.-45 deg. on one side in the horizontal direction emitted from a main reflecting mirror, and a substantially wide illuminating angle such as 100 deg. on one side can be realized. |
