PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow adjustment of visibility of an indicating portion and realize various coloring, by providing an operation knob including a body and an engaging portion formed in the body, a substantially transparent light guide having high light transmittance, and the indicating portion having light transmittance lower than that of the light guide. SOLUTION: A circular engaging hole 3 is opened in the front peripheral end of a knob body 1, an engaging hole 4 with a rectangular cross section with diameter larger than it is formed at this depth part, its one end opens on the rear surface of the knob body 1, and a light guide 5 is pressed into the engaging holes 3, 4. The light guide 5 is molded with a light transmitting member such as transparent acryl resin and formed in a prismatic shape allowing press-in into the engaging hole 4, a tilting reflecting surface 5a is formed at the rear end, and a cylindrical shaft-cylinder- portion 6 capable of being pressed into the engaging hole 3 is drilled in the front end. An indicating portion 6a is provided at the front end of the shaft cylinder portion 6 and molded in dark milk white, and exposed to the front surface of the knob body 1. A light guide 8 is provided as a transmission passage in the light guide 5 of incident light. |
