PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize selective display of an object without increase in processing time by separating not only a part having different natures but also a part having the same nature into a plurality of objects in the apparatus which displays a three- dimensional image using a pixel value of a three-dimensional voxel corresponding to the physical nature and opacity corresponding to the pixel value. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a means 41 to display a three- dimensional image for setting a space area of an object, a means to define space areas of a plurality of objects using the same, a means to set the opacity and color for each object, a means to select an object to be displayed, an object setting part 42 having a means for setting the degree of conversion of the subject and a means to perform a projection processing for a value on a three-dimensional table after values obtained from a pixel value and the opacity for each object are transferred onto the three-dimensional table. This enables the displaying of not only a part having different physical natures but also a part having the same physical nature being separated into a plurality of objects, the selective display of the objects and the display of the objects varying relative positions thereof on an image display part 43 without increase in processing time. |
