PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection device capable of allowing a connecting and disconnecting operation of a rotary excavating member to be performed easily and safely in a rotary driving device. SOLUTION: This rotary excavating member connecting device comprises a connection adapter 12 having an outer periphery on which a connection hook 15 is installed protrusively and connected detachably to a rotary excavating member 6, a connecting cylindrical member 14 which is fixed to a rotary output member 13 of a rotary driving device 5 and to which the connection adapter 12 can be inserted, a hook locking groove provided in the connecting cylindrical member 14, an annular opening and closing shutter 20 capable of rotating between a closed position where the hook locking groove is closed so that the connection hook 15 is closed in the hook locking groove to stop the axial movement of the adapter 12 and an open position where the hook engaging groove is open to release the connection hook 15, and a cylinder unit 23 rotating the opening and closing shutter 20 between the closed position and the open position.
