PURPOSE: A pH control system for dust collection water in thickener is provided, which is characterized in that the system neutralizes dust collection water with dry-pit water and prevents from corrosion of pipe and cuts down costs. The existing neutralized method using quicklime produces sludge cake with poor dehydration. CONSTITUTION: A pH control system for dust collection water in thickener is characterized by comprising the following parts: (i) a storage tank for dry-pit water(22); (ii) a discharge trap of dust collection water(15); (iii) a supply pipe(24) connected with supply pumps(8-1,8-2), control valves(7-1,7-2), check valves(6-1,6-2) and a flow detector(23); (iv) a mixing part(5) with a reducer pipe, a precipitation pipe and a nitrogen injection pipe(35); (v) pH measurement instruments(30-1,30-2); (vi) a control part(40) installed to control the supply pumps(8-1,8-2) and the control valves(7-1,7-2) by signal of the pH measurement instruments(30-1,30-2) and the flow detector(23). If pH value of accumulative mean at the pH measurement instrument(30-1) appears 5 or less, the control part calculates supply volume of the dry-pit water. In the meantime, if pH value reaches 7-7.5, the control part(40) is got to stop the supply pumps(8-1,8-2) and close the control valves(7-1,7-2).
