PURPOSE: Provided is an artificial nail overlay to enhance adhesive property and durability of an artificial nail and to reduce time and cost for designing a picture on the surface of the artificial nail overlay. CONSTITUTION: The overlay has one side on which a picture or pattern is painted or printed and the other side on which an adhesive is applied and to which paper is removably adhered. For example, silk(26) is put on the artificial nail, an adhesive(8) is applied to the upper part of the silk(26), and then the rest of the silk(26) is cut if the adhesive(8) is hardened.
