HEAD DRUM ASSEMBLY CONNECTING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A connecting device for a head drum assembly is provided to improve recording and reproducing characteristic through preventing error in connection, and to conveniently correct the error in connection. CONSTITUTION: Posts(104a,104b) of a connector are inserted to an assembly hole(86) of a holder(80). Then, the posts are restored into an original shape for being firmly fixed in the assembly hole. Moreover, pins of the connector are inserted to guide grooves of the holder in inserting the posts. Thus, the connector is installed on the holder. The pins are formed on a central line along a body(102) by first and second spring plates(114,116) of a plate terminal(110). Herein, the directions of the spring plates are established by the pins inserted to the guide grooves. Thus, the spring plates is prevented from being mis-assembled by the pins.
