PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hygienic chopstick rest which is prevented from being used repetitively, thereby eliminates discomfort by discarding after use at an restrant and so forth. SOLUTION: The chopstick rest is made of a piece of paper 1, or provided with a concave groove at its upper part. The chopstick rest can be discarded after use, thereby, can remove anxiety to lose or can be carried. And, a user can a packed lunch without feeling discomfort. Furthermore, the chopstick rest is hygienic because it is not used repetitively. The chopstick rest can eat be formed into various shapes because it is made of paper, and one user can have plural numbers of chopstick rests, thereby, the user can eat food deliciously because the chopstick rest can make a table beautiful.
