An arrangement for load-matched relieving of load in a mowing machine used within agriculture, comprising a mowing assembly 3 provided with a knife assembly 5 and a processing unit 7 and resiliently suspended in a bearing frame 1, in which the mowing assembly 3 is connected to the bearing frame 1 by at least two articulated arms 9 and 10 and is supported by at least three resilient elements 11, 12 and 13 acting between the mowing assembly and the bearing frame, in which at least one of the resilient elements 13 is constituted by a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder or bellows 14, the lifting force of which compensates for the additional load to which the mowing assembly is subjected during travel through crops.
