摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the shortest stopping term of a hot blast stove without clogging venting holes and gaps in a checker brick by press-feeding and hardening mortar on a preliminary bottom which fills and forms sandy refractory in the innermost surface part of a space part, or the like, wearing the furnace wall brick, and forming a new wall. SOLUTION: In a regenerator in the hot blast stove for blast furnace, in order to repaire the damaged part caused by fall-down of the brick generated in the space part wearing a lower outer peripheral part of silica-quality checker bricks 4A in the checker brick, the hot blast stove is stopped and the regenerator is cooled to a room temp. Successively, a blind patch 14 is disposed to the damaged part range in the furnace bottom 7 and, on the upper part, a fluidized sandy refractory 10 is poured and filled from the upper part through a canal part of the checker brick to form a preliminary bottom 9 near the innermost surface. Successively, the temps. of the hot blast stove and the generator are again raised up, and also, a heat resistant mortar is filled and hardened on the sandy refractory 10 of the preliminary bottom 9 from press-in holes 16 arranged on the furnace wall. Thereafter, the sandy refractory 10 is pulled out and the preliminary bottom 9 is removed and the new wall 13 is formed.
