<p>A gear pump and a gear motor capable of providing a high volumetric efficiency and a high durability at low cost, comprising side plates (6, 7) disposed between gears (3, 4) and casings (1, 2) slidably on the side surfaces of the gears (3, 4), wherein fluid supply paths (23 to 26, 30, 31, 43 to 46) are formed on the sliding surfaces of the side plates with the gears so as to lubricate the sliding surfaces, and the inlet sides of the fluid supply paths are connected to a suction port (8) and the outlet sides of them are connected to the suction side located at the meshed part of the gears, the gear pump being used for an engine fuel injection device.</p> |
