RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR TIRE TREAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition for a tire tread capable of improving chip cutting resistance of a tire and reducing the rolling resistance of the tire. SOLUTION: This rubber composition for a tire tread is obtained by formulating 100 pts.wt. of a diene-based rubber with <=55 pts.wt. of a styrene-isoprene- styrene ternary block copolymer (SIS) and/or a styrene-butadiene-styrene ternary blok copolymer (SBS) having 800-2,500 cP solution viscosity at 25 deg.C and 5-35 wt.% styrene content.
