PURPOSE: A color tube for preventing a howling phenomenon is provided to scan accurately an electron beam by reducing a resonance effect of a shadow mask. CONSTITUTION: A multitude of frame(40) of a concave-convex shape is arranged around an inside of a panel(20). Four plate springs(45) are inserted between four outer sides of the frame(40) and the inside of the panel(20). A shadow mask(30) is fixed on a concave-convex face(41) of the inside of the frame(40). A center portion of four sides of the shadow mask(30) is welded with the inside of the frame(40). Each edge portion of the shadow mask(30) is contacted closely with each edge portion of the inside of the frame(40).
