An aerobic and flexibility device has a track 3 hingedly mounted to a support frame 2, a trolley 4 for rotation around the track 3 and a stub handle 20 hingedly mounted to the trolley 4. The stub handle 20 simulates a sports club handle. The plane of the track 3 can be adjusted to desired angles, from horizontal through to vertical (fig 2). The track 3 may be arcuate, closed, circular or elliptical. The stub handle 20 may be twistable about its longitudinal axis and pivotable about axis perpendicular to the track plane. An adjustable footplate 6 and resistance to the swing may be provided. Thus, the swing of a sports bat, racket, club, or the like, as in baseball, tennis, cricket or golf, can be simulated. |
