<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a computer with a large-capacity semiconductor recording medium to easily change a program. SOLUTION: A mask ROM 4 is provided with areas 41 to 44 in which a first operating system to make access to an AND type flash memory 5 and a first driver, etc., are stored and the AND type flash memory 5 is provided with areas 51 to 53 in which a second operating system used when a graphic operation panel is normally operated and other systems are stored. A CPU 1 executes the first operating system from the mask ROM 4 when it is started, the first operating system reads the second operating system from the AND type flash memory 5 and executes it in place of itself. Thus, the second operating system is stored in the AND type flash memory 5 which is programmable but not randomly accessible and becomes easily changeable.</p> |
