Tumor vaccines containing fine particles or dissolved matters prepared from a solidified tumor material selected from the group consisting of tumor tissues, tumor cells and components thereof and at least one cytokine and/or a cytokine inducer (for example, granulocyte macrophage colony-stimulating factor and/or interleukin 2, etc.) optionally together with an adjuvant. These vaccines are characterized in that they can be easily handled, are widely applicable to the prevention of recurrence, prevention of metastasis and treatment of any tumor regardless of type, and have a high antitumor effect.
