<p>A gene of decaprenyl diphosphoric acid synthase, which is a key gene participating in the biosynthesis of coenzyme Q10, is isolated from a bacterium belonging to the family Rhizobiaceae. By transferring this gene into a microorganism such as Escherichia coli and expressing therein, coenzyme Q10 can be efficiently produced.</p> |
