SCAN TEST DEVICE FOR TESTING CONTINUITY OF BARE PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD

摘要

PURPOSE: A scan test device for testing the continuity of bare printed circuit board is provided to delete 80%-90% of test sites from a test routine after scanning a circuit board. CONSTITUTION: A scan test device(10) comprises a wiper(26) producing a testing signal in an upper and a lower shorting layer after electrically scanning a circuit board, wherein the shorting layers(12,14) short a testing unit(16), and a push rod(34) leading the testing unit under a wiper brush(26) and operated by a hydraulic cylinder or a linear motor(36). The way of testing the continuity of bare printed circuit board can reduce the testing time by deleting test site from additional test pad after scanning the circuit board and comparing the signal stored in software and the signal produced by wiper.
