<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cleaning magnesium-base waste material, particularly, scrap material produced in a casting work without using of flux, particularly the method for cleaning regenerating and utilizing the scrap of the magnesium base material produced in the casting work as a casting raw material. SOLUTION: Molten metal obtd. by melting the magnesium-base waste material is held under the reduced pressure and the foreign molten such as oxides and a releasing agent in the molten metal is floated up and separated together with the gas generated from the molten metal. Thus the magnesium-base waste material is cleaned, regenerated and utilized. Particularly, the scrap of the magnesium-base material produced in the casting work is cleaned, regenerated and utilized as the casting raw material.</p> |
