PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the strength in the peripheral direction of a longitudinal axis and thereby enhance the modulus of elasticity in flexture by winding a continuous reinforcing material helically around at least a part of a longitudinal axis in the peripheral direction on a fiber-reinforced resin striplike form having specific reinforcing fibers incorporated in a heat-curable resin, and bonding the continuous reinforcing material to the striplike form. SOLUTION: The molded product is formed of a fiber-reinforced resin striplike form 11 and a continuous reinforcing material 12. The fiber-reinforced resin striplike form 11 is formed of reinforcing fibers 112 consisting of a number of long glass fibers, arranged in the longitudinal direction to be embedded in an equally dispersed state, in a heat-curable resin 111 consisting of a hard urethane resin and cured. On the fiber-reinforced resin striplike form 11, the continuous reinforcing material 12 consisting of glass fiber monofilament is helically wound, along the entire periphery of a longitudinal axis, and the continuous reinforcing material 12 is connected to the heat-curable resin 111 of the striplike form 11. Consequently, it is possible to significantly increase not only in the longitudinal strength but also in the peripheral strength in the longitudinal axis of the molded product, enhancing its modulus of elasticity in flexture. |
