PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-extinguishing resin composition capable of retaining weather resistance over a long period of time without addition of carbon black. SOLUTION: A self-extinguishing resin composition comprises (A) a polyethylene based resin of 50-20 wt.%, (B) 50-80 wt.% of aluminum hydroxide and/or magnesium hydroxide, or a blend added magnesium carbonate not more than 30 wt.% to these, and (C) per 100 pts.wt. of the sum of the (A) and (B) components, 1-10 pts.wt. of a copolymer of ethylene and 4-acryloyloxy-2,2,6,6,- tetramethylpyperidine. |
