PURPOSE: A microwave oven having a heater with an enhanced structure of opened surface thereof and a glass door with an enhanced structure is provided in which a glass cover arranged at an inner surface of the cavity of the oven has a porous sheet layer formed integrally with the glass cover and the glass door includes a metalized porous sheet layer, to thereby achieve a simplified structure and enhanced shielding effect and heat transmission efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A structure of opened surface of a heater of a microwave oven in which the microwave oven includes a heater(6) at an outer wall surface of a cavity(1), an opened portion at a contact surface between the heater(6) and the cavity(1), and a heat transmission and electromagnetic wave shielding unit consisting of a porous plate and a glass cover(10), the structure comprising the glass cover(10) being supported from a center of the opened portion at a contact surface between the heater(6) and the cavity(1), the glass cover including at a surface thereof a porous sheet layer(20).
