PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the color diffusion transfer photographic film unit improved in separability at the time of film separation in the peel-apart system, while maintaining light-fastness, and further, improved in physical film properties of an image print by curing an image receiving layer with a specified compound and a specified compound selected from aldehyde type compounds and the other kind of compound. SOLUTION: The image receiving layer contains a polymer having repeating units each represented by formula I and repeating units each represented by formula II and the like, and a gelatin, and it is cured by the compound represented by formula IV: OHC-L1-CHO (L1 being a simple bond or an alkylene group or the like) and one of the aldehyde compounds and one of the compounds represented by formula III. In formulae I-III, each of R1-R3 is an H atom or the like; R4 is an alkyl group or the like; L is a 1-20C divalent bonding group; m=0 or 1; n=0 or 1; R is an H atom or the like; each of m1 and m2 is 0 or 1; n1 is 2, 3, or 4; and A is an n1 valent group.
