PURPOSE: A circulating-type atmospheric pressure cooling system of a medical herb extractor is provided to adopt a heat exchanger for condensing 100% of steam in a pot body and to extract a desired amount of medical herb material exactly. CONSTITUTION: A medical herb extractor has a pot body(130) keeping medical herbs and water, and a cap body(120) for closing the inside of the pot body. A manometer(121) and a safety pressure valve(122) a re mounted on the cap body. A heater is installed in the pot body. The medical herbs and water in the pot body are boiled down by the heater. A drain pipe(140) is set under the pot body and communicated with the inside. The drain pipe has an end portion branched to both sides including a drain pipe(141) for cleaning and a drain pipe(142) for extracting medical herb material. Each drain pipe has a switch valve(141a,142a). A push plate is mounted in the pot body and connected with a shaft of a motor(110). When the pot body finishes boiling down the medical herbs, the switch valve(142a) is opened and the push plate is descended by the motor. Therefore, the medical herb material is extracted through the corresponding drain pipe(142).
