A process for the production of a high bulk density particulate detergent composition containing a fluorescer which comprises mixing the fluorescer with a liquid component of the composition to form a fluorescer mixture and mixing the fluorescer mixture with a solid component , preferably non-spray-dried, of the composition whereby a particulate detergent composition is produced.
