PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a substrate for a liquid crystal display device by which processes are simplified and manufacturing by an inexpensive manufacturing device can be possible and to provide the substrate for the liquid crystal display device manufactured by the method. SOLUTION: When the substrate 1 for the liquid crystal display device containing a display section 2 and a terminal section 3 of wiring for driving the display section which is generally provided at a periphery thereof is manufactured, the terminal section 3 is formed by using a mask having a pattern forming a common opening 4 toward plural terminals. Thereby a thin film transistor substrate can be manufactured by using the inexpensive device and productivity also can be improved.
