PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically rewrite operation programs of other devices by updating the operation program of one device when the same kind of devices are present in the same network. SOLUTION: The network device has a function of sending and receiving an operation program by having an interactive communication with other network devices in the network. As an example of a receiving process, when notice that program data can be sent out or a rewrite request is received (step S1), an answer is sent to the request source (step S3), program data sent from the request source are received (step S4), and the control program data of this side are rewritten (step S5). By this method, the programs of other network devices can automatically be rewritten by updating the operation program of one device when the same kind of network devices are present in the same network.
